How we chose the ten

We read Amazon.com’s Electronics Best Sellers list and selected the first ten physical products shown. The number-one entry was a Blink subscription plan, which we excluded because it is a service. We number our ten-product collection 1–10 in that selection order. These are collection numbers, not Amazon rank claims; the original category positions are retained in our research record. This is a dated category snapshot, not an all-Amazon sales chart or an editorial performance ranking.

Amazon describes this list as based on sales and updated frequently. It does not provide the unit-sales totals needed to verify an all-category “top ten gadgets sold” claim. Listings and manufacturer specifications informed these reviews. We have not personally tested these products. Our judgments about suitability and tradeoffs are editorial assessments.
