Our take
The Anker 341 USB Power Strip, model A9183, combines eight AC outlets, two USB-A ports and one USB-C port. This review concerns the white, five-foot US version shown in the manufacturer photograph. Anker publishes a 20W maximum USB-C output and a 2000-joule surge-protection rating. These are manufacturer specifications, not results of our own electrical or charging tests.
Why consider it
The three-sided outlet layout and angled flat plug make this a sensible candidate for a desk with several power adapters. A five-foot cord and bottom mounting slots give you options for placing the connections within reach. Its advantage for this shortlist is clear documentation and a photograph of the exact model, alongside a practical arrangement for ordinary desk equipment.
The tradeoffs
The 20W USB-C figure applies to single-port operation; Anker specifies 15W shared when all three USB ports are in use. That makes the built-in USB ports more relevant to phones and small accessories than to replacing a typical laptop charger. The published 2000-joule rating is not a guarantee against every electrical event, and we have not independently verified protection or charging performance.
What to compare
Choose this for accessible AC outlets and modest USB charging together. If the main need is a laptop charging at its full specified rate, compare a properly rated dedicated USB-C charger instead. Compare the exact A9183 reference, cord length, plug format and complete connected load rather than buying a similarly named power strip on appearance alone.
Before you buy
Confirm A9183, the five-foot US configuration, seller and current return terms on Amazon. Anker lists AC output of 125V, 60Hz, 15A and 1875W; follow the product label and model-specific user guide for the connected devices and location. The strip is not a voltage converter.
